Dealer-level diagnostics in Melton Mowbray
The manufacturers' own diagnostic systems for 12 makes, and professional multi-brand diagnostics for the rest.
What dealer-level actually means
Every garage can read fault codes. Dealer-level diagnostics means plugging in the manufacturer's own system — the same software a main dealer uses — which is what it takes to program a replacement module, code a key, update software, calibrate driver-assistance cameras and radar, and run the maker's guided fault-finding for that exact fault.
We hold those systems for the twelve makes below. For every other make we use professional multi-brand diagnostic equipment, which covers the great majority of day-to-day faults.
Every other make
BMW, MINI, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Renault, Dacia, Fiat, Volvo, Mazda, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Tesla and most others: professional multi-brand diagnostics — fault codes with live data, component testing, resets and adaptations, service light resets, DPF regeneration and electrical fault finding with oscilloscope and wiring diagrams.

Questions people ask
Which makes do you have dealer-level diagnostics for?
Ford, Peugeot, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Vauxhall, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, SEAT & CUPRA, Škoda, Audi, Land Rover, Jaguar. Vauxhall dealer-level covers the current Stellantis models; older Vauxhalls get standard diagnostics.
Can you program keys and modules?
Yes, for the makes we hold dealer systems for. Key and security work falls under the SERMI scheme, so we will ask for the V5C and photo ID.
My car is not on the list — can you still look at it?
Yes. Professional multi-brand diagnostics handles most faults on most makes; if something needs a manufacturer-only function we will tell you straight away rather than charge you to find out.
Do I need to book?
Yes — book a diagnostics request online or ring us. Describe the fault and we will ring you with a time.
